Vocational training at Heimbach is worthwhile!
It is a tradition that the 16 chambers of industry and commerce in North Rhine-Westphalia award the best from more than 150 apprenticeships...and we were there.
 
In his apprenticeship as a textile production mechanic, our trainee Sebastian Sievernich far exceeded his ambitious goal of finishing with a good exam.
Out of 69,000 examinations in NRW in 2022, he made it to the top 241 graduates.
Under the motto "The best in the Bergisch", Sebastian was presented with a certificate for his exceptional achievements.

We are very happy for him and at the same time proud that our vocational training is so successful.
 
We are already planning the next step to counteract the shortage of skilled workers.
From 2023 onwards, we will offer two apprenticeships in the field of electronics for industrial engineering in cooperation with RWE.
