When numerous athletes competed for the coveted medals at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in July and August of this year, Heimbach was also able to enjoy "precious metal": silver!  Instead of sportiness, however, sustainability and compliance were required in this case. In the "Other Technical Textiles" segment, we made it into the top 25 at Ecovadis, a renowned sustainability rating platform for global supply chains. "All our efforts have been rewarded with this latest result," reveals Stefan Körfer. As our Sustainability Manager and Compliance Officer, he coordinates everything related to sustainability and compliance.

Of course, this achievement is only possible as a team. In the areas of ethics, labour & human rights, environment and sustainable procurement, everyone is focused on the ecological, social and economic challenges surrounding the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In a continuous process that requires commitment and willingness to change, Heimbach is facing the challenges of our generation. Numerous smaller and larger projects accompany this journey, always with clear objectives.
