After our Chinese site in Suzhou had to be closed at short notice due to the corona virus, the situation there has eased considerably.

At our most modern production site, work was resumed after the New Year's holidays on February 12 instead of February 2. This served the safety of all employees, as some of them were visiting relatives over the holidays and the number of infected persons had risen sharply at that time.

Heimbach was able to restart its site in China as the first local PMC supplier. As our Asian customers also need time to restart their production, there will be no delays in delivery.

A real plus is the fact that there have never been any bottlenecks caused by COVID-19 at the European Heimbach sites.

We hope that our employees, customers and business partners will be spared the corona virus and that the situation will normalise as soon as possible.
