We are pleased to announce that Heimbach GmbH has acquired 85 % of Arcari Srl's shares. Arcari is located in Limbiate, Italy. The aim of this acquisition is to continue the strategic expansion of the Technical Textiles division (TTX).

Founded in 1993, Arcari Srl is a very renowned and successful Northern Italian manufacturer of process belts for the textile industry, food industry, wood processing industry, paper and packaging industry, glass production­ and photovoltaics (see also: www.arcarisrl.it).

Arcari generated with 24 employees a turnover of more than EUR 5 million in the financial year 2021.

Heimbach is thus expanding its product portfolio in the field of technical textiles and is also entering into other industries and areas of application such as e.g. the petrochemical industry and photovoltaics.

With this acquisition, Heimbach is extending its customer base in the Technical Textiles business and enabling Arcari to expand its geographical presence beyond Italy and Europe through the existing TTX sales structure.

Based on the figures for the financial year 2021, the Technical Textiles division with 242 employees would generate a turnover of approximately EUR 32,3 million. The integration of Arcari into Heimbach Group will take place under the leadership of our Northern Italian company Industrie Tessili Bresciane Srl in cooperation with Heimbach Specialities in Belgium.
