In future the Heimbach Group will focus on its core businesses paper machine clothing (PMC) and technical textiles (TTX).
With effect from 1st January 2019, Heimbach Filtration GmbH in Dueren sold her assets to Kayser Filtertech GmbH in Einbeck, the business will be transferred and continued. Kayser Filtertech is, like Heimbach Filtration GmbH, a systems supplier for the entire value chain from filter media production to ready-made filter elements including after sales services and extensive consulting.
Successfully finished projects have shown clearly, that the product portfolio and distribution structures, as well as the specific knowhow of applications of both companies, complement each other very well. “The merger is a consistent measure to strengthen the market position of both sides long-term”, says Dr. Ralf Kaldenhoff, COO Technical Textiles of Heimbach Group.
The brand “Heimbach Filtration”, in combination with the Dueren site and its highly qualified work force, excellently matches the portfolio of Kayser Filtertech Group. For both family owned companies the signing of a long-term rental agreement for the facilities in Dueren is a positive sign for the future.
