This is where the most important/relevant paper qualities are established, such as sheet formation and filler distribution. Sheet formation ranges from a density of solids of approx. 1% at the head box to a dry content of 20% - 22% at the suction roll.
Heimbach-Group with its product base offers a well-rounded spectrum of forming fabrics for the production of all paper grades - headed by the PRIMOBOND family of high-tech designs. Custom made applications as well as a varied choice of versatile standard forming fabric designs complete the circle.
PRIMOBOND - Forming Fabric Technology for the Future SSB forming fabric woven using 24 harness technology, which allows 6 shaft machine side construction to promote improved life potential. Available with 2 or 3 shaft paper side construction and 3:2, 2:1 or 1:1 weft ratio. Duralon, a patented machine-side weft material, is also available in PRIMOBOND designs to further improve life potential and reduce power consumption. The PRIMOBOND family has options in HD, F, SF or XF depending upon application or paper grade. The XF design benefits from Stabilon high modules machine direction yarns which promote high FSI without compromise to dimensional stability. A PRIMOBOND specification should be available to clothe all former types making all paper grades.
PRIMOPLAN - Standard Fabrics for All Paper Grades and Former Types
Double layer fabrics in 8 or 16 shaft construction with optional extra weft technology on the paper side. Duralon, the patented machine side weft material, is also available as an option to promote increased life potential and reduced energy consumption. PRIMOPLAN fabrics can clothe all former types making all paper grades.
PRIMOFLEX - 10 Shaft 1 1/2 Layer Fabric for long life potential 10 shaft 1.5 layer fabrics for long life potential and improved stability. Available in standard polyester or polyamide, with an option for Duralon to promote greater life potential and reduced energy consumption. Under the PRIMOFLEX.T label, 5 shaft single layer designs are also available for tissue application.
